Global Entertainment Company required a partner who could help them execute a critical company initiative within the newly formed data and analytics group.
The Problem
End-to-end data cloud data platform
Unfortunately, previous vendors had put them in a bad spot with respect to timelines and quality. The goal of this project was to build an end-to-end cloud-based data platform from scratch leveraging a multi-cloud ecosystem. This included aggregating, engineering, and curating data from multiple external data sources like Spotify, Facebook, etc. to allow their end clients (labels and artists) the opportunity to predict the best opportunity for market share/revenue opportunities based on multiple factors. They needed a partner with expertise in execution who could be held accountable to extremely aggressive timelines and milestones.

Quality and Precision
Through collaboration and discovery, Integris Group recommended standing up pods/scrum teams consisting of Scrum Masters/Agile coaches, data architects and engineers, dev ops engineers, and Business Analyst and Testers for each respective work stream. The technology stack and skills required were very specific and niche, leveraging multiple tools like Databricks, Snowflake, Bigtable, GCP, AWS. The team also needed to be stood up within less than 4 weeks due to previous commitments. A very intense agile approach would be implemented for the first time in this group, so significant change management and buy in was required to see success across multiple groups.

Through the quality of Integris Group consultants and methodology, all timelines and milestones were achieved. Currently there is now a data platform that both internal and external users are currently using, and the feedback from the business has been tremendous. Integris Group was able to make up months of lost time, significantly increasing velocity, and that equated to tangible positive business outcomes. In addition, Integris Group was able to provide tremendous cost savings through architecture/and automation. Because of this effort we have been referred to other groups and are a long-term trusted partner.
