Information Technology Project Manager

Job Duties:

Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
Conduct regular status meetings, reviews, and checkpoints to ensure progress and resolve roadblocks in a timely manner.
Define project scope in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring that business requirements are accurately captured and translated into technical information specifications.
Develop a detailed project charter, outlining project deliverables, timelines, and key project milestones.
Manage scope changes effectively by evaluating the impact on timelines, resources, and costs, and secure approval from stakeholders before implementation.
Identify, assess, and prioritize potential risks that may impact project delivery.
Maintain a comprehensive Risk, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies (RAID) log, ensuring that all risks and issues are documented, monitored, and resolved promptly.
Create comprehensive project timelines using project management tools, such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or Asana, to outline key tasks, milestones, and deliverable dates.
Identify and manage both internal and external project dependencies to minimize delays and ensure that deliverables are achieved on time.
Continuously monitor and adjust project schedules to accommodate any unforeseen changes or challenges.
Manage project plans to achieve the defined goals ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and scope.
Oversee the development, testing, and deployment phases, ensuring that data projects are delivered with high quality and meet business expectations.
Develop and maintain financial forecasts for project budgets, including tracking expenses, forecasting future costs, and managing budget variances.
Prepare and present budget reports to senior management, explaining any deviations from the original financial plan and proposing solutions to stay within budget.
Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure project performance and impact.
Regularly track and analyze project performance data, project milestones and deliverables, and generate detailed reports.
Utilize dashboards and reporting tools to provide visual insights into project progress, financial status, risk management, and overall performance.
Develop a benefits realization plan that outlines how benefits will be measured and reported over time.
Implement quality control measures to ensure that project deliverables meet established standards and requirements.
Ensure that all project activities comply with organizational policies, data governance standards, and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with compliance and legal teams to address any data privacy concerns, especially when handling sensitive information.
Ensure proper integration of data systems and solutions, facilitating seamless data flow and usability for analytics and reporting.
Implement DevOps and Test Automation strategies to improve efficiency and reduce production defects.
Conduct Data Analysis and worked with Data Warehousing solutions to validate and optimize AI-driven applications.
Engage in Process Engineering to optimize workflows and improve data pipeline performance.
The position uses knowledge and skills in technologies such as SQL, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, Azure, Python, agile and lean methodologies.
Work Location: Orlando, FL or other unanticipated client location across the U.S.

Requirements for the job:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or its foreign equivalent; and five (5) years of experience in the job offered, Software Quality Assurance Manager, Quality Assurance Manager, Project Coordinator, Engineering Quality Assurance Engineer, ScrumMaster, or in a related occupation in information technology project management field. Past experience must include two years of experience with technologies such as SQL, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, Azure, Python, agile and lean methodologies, agile scrum, DevOps, Data Warehousing, and Data Analysis. Need Certified ScrumMaster training certificate.
